§1 Applicability to Businesses and Definitions of Terms

(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer in the version in effect at the time of the order. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

§2 Formation of a Contract; Storage of the Contract Text

(3) The presentation of goods in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer on our part, but is merely a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods. By ordering the desired goods, the consumer submits an offer to enter into a sales contract that is binding on him or her.

(4) The following rules apply when an order is placed in our online store:
The consumer submits a binding offer to enter into a contract by successfully completing the ordering process provided in our online store. (Selecting the desired merchandise, reviewing the details in the shopping cart, confirming the purchase by entering an email address and/or personal information such as the recipient’s name and/or shipping address, selecting the shipping and payment methods, and completing the order/purchase.)

Before submitting a binding order, the consumer can use the “Back” button in the webto return to the webpage where the customer’s information is entered and correct any input errors, or cancel the ordering process by closing the web browser. We will immediately confirm receipt of the order via an automatically generated email (“Order Confirmation”). With this, we accept your offer.

§3 Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment, Due Date

(1) The prices listed include sales tax and other price components. Any shipping costs will be added to the total.

(2) The consumer may pay in advance via

(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay by bank transfer, he or she agrees to transfer the purchase price immediately after the contract is concluded.

§4 Delivery & Shipping

(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items we offer are manufactured as soon as possible after the order is placed and shipped within approximately 10–15 business days.
The delivery period begins on the day after payment is successfully received.
If the end of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday at the delivery location, the period ends on the next business day.

(2) Even in the case of a sale by mail order, the risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the item sold at
does not pass to the customer until the item is delivered to the customer or to an authorized recipient.

(3) JCBoards ships its goods via the shipping companies Hermes or DPD. Packages are shipped with tracking and insurance included. The tracking number will be provided to the customer as soon as it is available. Hermes, GLS, or DPD package insurance is liable for lost, damaged, or undeliverable packages. (4) If you would like to use an alternative shipping method through another carrier, such as DHL, please feel free to contact us. However, this option may result in additional costs for you. You are responsible for reviewing their terms and conditions and familiarizing yourself with them.

(5) Should there be any delays in production or delivery, you will, of course, be notified immediately.

§5 Retention of Title

We reserve ownership of the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.

notify us of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email).

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including shipping costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping option we offer, e.g., freight forwarding), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive the item. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you mail the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

Please return the merchandise to us securely packaged and with sufficient postage, and include the tracking number for the return shipment in your written notice of cancellation. We assume no liability for uninsured shipments.

§7 Damage During Shipping and Warranty

(1) Procedure for handling damage incurred during transport:

Inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. Hidden damage caused during shipping must be reported in writing within 7 calendar days of receiving the goods. Defects discovered later that are attributable to improper handling during shipping will no longer be recognized or reimbursed by the insurance companies after this period has expired.
Please report the damage in writing by email to info@jcboards.com with the subject line “Shipping Damage to Order #(include order number).” Please attach one photo of the damaged product, one of the outer packaging, and one of the inner packaging to this email, and keep the product and all packaging.
We will then create a ticket with the relevant shipping carrier, who will pick up the item from you to assess the damage. At the same time, we will either manufacture a new product for you or refund the amount as soon as the defective product is returned to us and the shipping carrier acknowledges the insurance claim.
Returns: Please return the merchandise to us securely packaged and with sufficient postage. Please provide us with the tracking number for the return shipment. We assume no liability for uninsured shipments.

Certain goods are excluded from the right of withdrawal

However, according to Section 312g(2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal under a distance sales contract does not apply to all goods.

Exceptions include custom-made items or special sizes produced specifically for the customer that are not offered in the online store

(2) Warranty: If the product shows signs of damage attributable to manufacturing defects on our part, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at info@jcboards.com or through the contact form on our website. We offer certain goodwill measures in such cases and are confident we can find a mutually agreeable solution.
